Consigning at Absolutely Her is easy!
Just follow these guidelines and you'll be through the whole process in minutes.
Monday - Friday: 10am - 6pm
Saturday: 10am - 5pm
Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
Consignments accepted every day up until 15 minutes before closing.
We will not be accepting consignments Wednesday, January 31st - Saturday, February 3rd.
All items must be neat, clean, pressed and on HANGERS.
This makes it easier and faster for us to look through your items.
We can provide hangers for you to pick up before you bring in your clothing - just ask. Sorry, but we will not be able to go through items brought in garbage bags.
Costume jewelry should be placed in individual zip lock bags so the items don't get tangled and are easier to look through. We are only accepting jewelry items of a higher quality and brands which are easily identifiable and, like our other items, a current trend and color. We are not able to accept real, high-end jewelry (diamonds, etc) and are not responsible for pricing items as costume as we do not have the equipment/knowledge of a certified jeweler to determine authenticity.
Please place purses and shoes in a box or laundry basket.
Seasonal clothing and accessories must be current (no more than a couple of years old) and of highest quality.
We are accepting pajamas - New With Tags (not lingerie).
If you have perfume which is at least 80% full and is less than one year old, we may be able to accept them. Please bring them in ziplock bags in case of breakage/spill.
Please understand we cannot take clothing which is more than a couple of years old even if you only wore it one time or still has the tags attached. Try to remember when you purchased it. If you can't remember, it probably won't fit our guidelines.
We've had such a great response with consignors bringing their items into us that we are now having to start limiting the brands and types of clothing we are taking. We take into
account our top sellers, items which are not moving very fast based on sales, and brands. (See below for some of our favorite brands.)
Our goal is to sell your items at the best prices and to make room for what our customers are searching for. With that being said, we hope you will
understand why we can no longer take the following types of items:
Pants with elastic waists * Business suits * Lingerie/swimwear * Items with labels cut out of clothing * T-Shirts
No holes, stains, missing fasteners, soiled cuffs or collars
Items must be free of any fragrance/odors

In the four years since our opening, we have sold over 6,000 different brands, so please give us a call if you have any questions about branding.
Whether you label them fakes, replicas, look-alikes, reproductions or knockoffs... it is still called product counterfeiting and it is BIG business. According to the Department of Commerce, losses to U.S. businesses from the counterfeiting of trademarked consumer products are estimated at $250 billion a year.
Counterfeiting is the imitation of a product and unauthorized use of another's trademark (registered brand name, logo, scent, design, etc.). The counterfeit, identical in appearance, gives the impression of being the genuine product from the real manufacturer
Allowing counterfeit items to enter the marketplace is illegal. Some people mistakenly believe that if counterfeit merchandise is identified on the sales tag as being "fake", "faux", "look-a-like" or "replica" it is alright to buy or sell it. Not true . . . a counterfeit is still a counterfeit and it is still illegal. You can find them for sale on street corners in major cities, at house parties, out of the trunks of luxury autos or perhaps "from behind the counter" or "under the table" at legitimate stores. Let us be clear—it is still trademark infringement and it is illegal. Counterfeiting is punishable by fines, confiscation and prosecution—so protect yourself and do not buy or sell any goods that you suspect may not be genuine.
When consumers realize a business sold them a counterfeit product, they lose their trust and wonder what else the store is being dishonest about. At Absolutely Her, we will never knowing sell a counterfeit product. If we are not sure of the authenticity of the item, we will not accept it unless we have it authenticated.
Authentication of products is conducted by an off-site company of the highest integrity. This process may take up to one week to receive the results. All items which we have authenticated are subject to an upfront fee of $20 - $40 depending on the brand of the item.
If the item is deemed to be authentic, Absolutely Her will notify the owner and refund the consignor by placing the amount paid on to the consignor's account. The 75-day consignment period will begin on the day the authentication is complete.
If the item is deemed to be counterfeit, the consignor will be notified and the authentication payment will not be refunded. The consignor will have 5 business days to pick up their items. If not picked up within that time frame, it will be destroyed.

Absolutely Her Consignment Agreement
We will select from the items offered for consignment based on our customers and experience which tells us what our customers want to purchase. There will be items we cannot sell and therefore, we will decline accepting them. We may refuse to accept any item for any reason. Upon processing or after an item has been priced, any items found to have stains, missing buttons, excessive wear, etc. will automatically be donated.
Prices are based on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you. The selling price will be reduced or be part of ANY sale as we determine is required to sell your items. You will receive a 40% commission of the final selling price. Item fees and taxes are not part of the selling price. You can come in at any time for money that is owed to you on your account. You are able to check your account online through our website (www.absolutelyherstore.com). It is the consignor’s responsibility to request payment on their account.
All items will stay on the sales floor for a period of 75 days from the date the item was inventoried and placed into our system. Holiday items expire at the end of the Holiday Season regardless of the date received by Absolutely Her. If you would like item(s) returned to you (regardless of the value), you must call (402-932-4668) and speak with an Absolutely Her employee before the expiration date to request they be pulled for you. (Messages left via email or voice mail cannot be guaranteed.)
A minimum of 24 hour notice is required to let us know you are coming in to pick up your items. We are not able to retrieve items without prior notice. If you have requested your items to be pulled for you, they must be picked up within 3 days of the requested pull date. If not picked up within that time frame, items will become property of the store.
Items consigned with Absolutely Her and requested to be returned before they have been on the floor for a minimum of 45 days will be assessed a $5 early-pull fee per item.
All items not requested for pick up before their expiration date will become property of the store. It is the Consignor’s responsibility to keep track of the date of expiration – Absolutely Her will not contact you to provide a reminder. It is Absolutely Her’s discretion how those items will be distributed. We may donate items sooner if we find them to be outdated or unacceptable.
We pledge to do our best to safeguard your items. However, we are not responsible for damage or loss. You warrant that you are over 18 years of age and have complete ownership of all items offered for consignment and will not hold Absolutely Her responsible for any claims of entitlement to them. I understand that it is against the law to sell counterfeit goods (purses, jewelry, clothing, etc.). I certify that the items I am consigning are authentic. I hereby warrant that I own the merchandise brought in by me and that I will not hold Absolutely Her responsible for any claims of title to the same. Absolutely Her reserves the right to use consigned articles for fashion shows, trade shows, television commercials, and other promotions and to purchase items for future use. Any special arrangements or changes to the above must be in writing, signed and dated.
I have read, understand and agree with all terms listed on this agreement. It is my responsibility to ask questions at the time of signing this Consignor’s Agreement. A copy of this signed agreement will be kept on file with Absolutely Her for any additional future consignments.

If you are new to consignment shops or are a seasoned veteran, we know you'll love what we have to offer.
